Why would I need a compounded medication ?

Mass produced medications only come in certain sizes, types, and combinations. We work with Prescribers to formulate medications needed by patients who require different dosage forms – OR – for patients with allergies to dyes, gluten, preservatives, and many other ingredients.
We make the medication from scratch just for You.

Why else would a medication need to be compounded ?

Sometimes a pharmaceutical company no longer manufactures a particular medication because it is not profitable to make and the
overall demand for the drug is not enough. However, if the medication works for you; your prescriber will contact us to prepare it for you.

Does your pharmacy participate in Insurance Programs?

No, we do not. The majority of compounded medication ingredients are no longer covered.

Does your pharmacy provide Insurance Claim Forms ?

Yes, we will provide you with an Insurance Claim Form that can be used for reimbursement.

While you may be paying directly for a compounded prescription, almost every insurance plan
allows for the patient to be reimbursed by sending in the corresponding claim form.

How expensive are these medications?

Most of our prescription prices are equal to - or - less than the Out-of-Pocket (copay) insurance fees.

How long does it take to make a compounded medication just for me?

Every formula is different. Once the pharmacist looks at the prescription order and reviews your allergies
or other special needs, he/she will give you a projected time for pickup.

What methods of payment are accepted?

We accept cash, checks, all major credit cards, and Health Savings accounts.
